snapshotmiki Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 I had to work at the restaurant today and around 4PM experienced my first earthquake. The floor really rolled under our feet, chandeliers swinging. A couple of customers got nauseous and could not finish their dinner. It was a 7.2 and that is about enough for me. The earthquake was centered in Mexicali, we are about 100 miles away. I have accomplished a few things in the last week--dogs to vet for shots and heartworm pills, my haircut and pedicure. Next week--dogs haircut and pedi , a deep clean on the trailer and stock up on vities. I am looking forward to leaving and am ready to be done working for now.
