TurtleMama
Hey there, everyone... I have a little question. I canned beans yesterday (LOL!!) and the jars all sealed and look happy...I have just one little concern. The liquid in the jars decreased during processing, so there are beans on top that aren't submerged in any liquid. Is that okay? Will they still be all right? I know it's probably normal, but wanted to be certain. Thanks, friends! Link to comment
CrabGrassAcres
Yes, they'll be fine. When you open them they will be a bit hard to get out, but they'll taste ok. Next time don't put quite so many in. Link to comment
WormGuy
Yep, they will be okay. I've had that happen at times myself. John Link to comment
TurtleMama
Okay, sounds good. Thanks so much, guys. I won't fill them quite as full next time. Will the beans on top still be okay to eat? Link to comment
WormGuy
They will be fine to eat. I open a jar, heat them up and eat. I can't tell which beans were on the top or the bottom. John Link to comment
