Good Morning!

 

I just finished baking a big overstuffed dutch apple pie made from the leftover Halloween apples. Elk Fajitas are on the menu for tonight from the elk I canned while in NM. Guess I will add the elk at the last minute so it doesn't completely fall apart. Never made fajitas this way before. I think I will get out some sewing patterns and decide what to make. Maybe get them pinned over the next few days before I go back to work.

 

What are your plans for today?

 

Supposed to be 90 for a high today but still pleasant this morning.

Since I cling to my Bible and my guns ( living in a small town in Pennsylvania ), we voted first thing this morning!! DH went to work a little late. We voted a few minutes after 7. Not much of a line, but it always gets busy after everyone gets off of work, so I hope they have a good turnout.

 

It is bright and sunny, but cold. It was 24 degrees this morning. I put flannel sheets on our bed--those seem to make it tougher to get out of bed in the morning!
