Homesteader
The epicenter was about 20 miles from here. It woke both DH and me up at 4 am. I knew what it was immediately since we had one about 1 year ago. No damage here but some people closer in had dishes and stuff knocked off their shelves. I've lived here a long time and this is not a quake area (Like LA is). They can happen nearly anywhere though. Don't expect another one Frannie! It could be a very long time. Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
I wasn't really worried about that, Momo. I do remember the quake we had in Florida back around '75. I was more worried about you and my family (they live close to you), but since you are ok, and I've heard from them that they are fine, I'm not gonna worry 'no more' Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Milkshakes, anyone??? Glad to hear you are ok. I wondered if it wasn't near Momo... Quote Link to comment
Homesteader
I'm gonna fess up. In my useless attempt to catch up with all the ladies who walk miles in Our Gym, I decided to get up very early and begin my exercise program with jumping jacks. So sorry for all the inconvenience I caused. Quote Link to comment
Goose Liver
FUNNY MOMO... HAHAHAHAHAH My sister lives in atlanta she also felt the quake, woke her up, but very minor. Quote Link to comment

Guest Guest
Glad everyone is ok. Momo why don't you try stretching exercises next time. di Quote Link to comment
Homesteader
Good idea Dinmi, it would be MUCH safer for the public. Theyd must be too young to remember jumping jacks at recess. Snowmom you sound skeptical about the jumping jacks. Quote Link to comment
