YikesCGA!!! I went out and checked the back storage under the bed and all seems dry and bug free. Also my tote with material is dry and that amazes me! I guess the water was a little lower on that side of the trailer. It would have to have been higher than the door to get in the back, but oh so close. I'm so glad I did not find any fire ants!!! Thanks CGA and I'm glad you are back Mt. Rider!!!!!!

Glad there were no ant colonies. Just a tip, if you find one, use the shop vac to clean them out. Don't open the vac right away, set it in the sun or where it can freeze or just leave it a week. By then they will all be dead and you can empty it. You can keep using it in the meantime, just don't open it for a week after vacuuming the ants.

Extinquish is a good bait to use. Take an empty, not washed, peanut butter jar and drill a 1/4 inch hole in the lid. PUt the bait in the jar and screw the lid back on. The ants can get the bait, but your pets cannot.
