tacobelle Posted August 30, 2004 Author Share Posted August 30, 2004 Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! A little bit about me: I'm 46, married for 27 yrs. (will be 28 on the 17th of Sept.) to my best friend. We have 2 DD's, one will be 26 on the 10th of Sept. and the other is 22. DD#1 is a teacher and is teaching 2nd grade this year, DD#2 is starting her fifth and "final" year of college today. She is getting a business degree. We live on a farm and raise beef cattle. I stay home but DH works off the farm. We also keep chicken's for eggs and meat, have 2 porch cats, 1 indoor kitty that will be moving with DD#1 soon as she has just bought her first house on Friday. 2 Great Pyr's, Sugar and Sassy (where my username comes from) that I just adore!!! We always raise a garden and I can, freeze and dry, although not much of that going on this year since our garden was a big flop. Thanks again for the warm welcome! Quote Link to comment

tacobelle Posted September 1, 2004 Author Share Posted September 1, 2004 LOL@Cat! beeber is actually a nickname I got when my youngest sister tried to call me Debra, but it came out as beeber LOL! Some people thought she was calling me beaver!!! Yep, I think the weather had a great deal to do with our garden not doing well.
