logcabinmama
Hi there, I just want you to know that there is a post that is a sticky post at the top of the forum. It is on getting started. Quote Link to comment
psarnes1
Well I have the geneology for my mother's side. For some reason my grandmother sent it to me today and it goes back to 1453. WOW!!!! Now my dad's side is more confusing. I know that he was born in Lubbock County Texas but that is it. His father's name is James Edward Armstrong but I dont know my grandmother or anyone else. I am so confused on where to start I think I need to read all of the posts here...lol. Thanks Smooches To All!!! Quote Link to comment
Wheeler
alclary, was your father's name Cecil? Quote Link to comment
psarnes1
No. His name is Eddie Don Armstrong. He died May 16,1998. He was born May 14, 1953 if this helps. Thanks Smooches Quote Link to comment
Wheeler
OK, I thought that I had found him on a census page but not so! The last census that has been released was in 1930. Thought that he was older than that... so, you're just a "spring chick", eh? I have a son who was born in 1953... so that makes me as 'old as dirt' to you!!! I hope that you continue your interest in genealogy... Quote Link to comment
psarnes1
No you are not "old as dirt" you are just seasoned..lol. Yes I am a spring chick I guess. I just turned 28. I feel 50 right now with everything going on though. smooches Quote Link to comment
