  1. yup ! same thing here. . . First Michael made the shelf so we could put more things on the window. Then he put in a few hooks (nails) so we could put the measuring spoons ,bottle brushs, sponges on. Then when the sponge kept falling off out came the clothpin! Just drilled a little hole in one side and nailed it up there.
  2. Have you ever cracked an egg shell and a piece of the shell falls in with the egg?? You can spend all day digging it out with your fingers and it will never come out BUT.... this handy tip really works.... Just take the shell and use it as a scoop to get the little piece out as it will cling right to the shell and come right out!! So says Lori
  3. Want to keep your dish sponge handy when not in use... We have a clothespin attached to the shelf that is above the sink and just clip it in there for next time you need it- that way it dries out and stays a little cleaner longer!

Three people (DS is 23) on $3.50 only because the soup was 70 cents and the pork steaks were a dollar apiece.lol. Now that sounds like a good meal! guess what we are making in the next few days - seeiing we have eeverything on hand to make it!

  13. *- You go shopping and are looking at plastic pails when someone else comes by and grabs one - turns to friend and says, " I need this to put my garden potting soil in so it will stay dry." And you think to yourself, "OH! they are NOT just for Preps or Bob's?"
  14. *- During a big storm at night all the power goes out in the area, and your home is glowing in light.
