  1. Granny maybe you could make two different batches? One you could do closer to Sunday so the Sunday schoolers could have them as their snack.. Maybe do a trial run in the next few days and find out if they are hollow after they cook or if it really does take the whole night.. I am not sure leaving them in the oven over night does anything but represent how the children feel to be leaving them in there.. Please let us know how they turn out!

  2. We call them sodies.. But most of the time we are being stupid.. Other than that.... When I want dh to get me something from the store I call it by name.. Like Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, "Dew"........When we go out to eat I will ask if they have Pepsi or Coke products. Then I know which drink to ask for.. I'll take a double Dew on the rocks please!!! I am curious as to why this is on the Sunporch?

    Potato Salad (because BIL said so)

    Greenbean Casserole (a given)

    Noodles (neice wants)

    Mashed Potatoes (lumpy of course)and gravy

    Olive and Pickle Wraps

    Pumpkin, Apple and Pecan Pies (with coolwhip)

    Cranberry Salad (because I like it)

    Crescent Rolls

    Hot Rolls

    Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Tea and MOUNTAIN DEW!

     

    Oh yeah and a chocolate Birthday cake.. DH turns 38 Thanksgiving Day this year!

    OK oh experienced one...... I know I should just try this on my own... But where do I start? I know you have posted many links on the subject but I wanna know what YOU do..

  5. OK I have the lard, I have the lye, I have the rubber gloves, I have the wooden spoon, I have a stainless steel soup pot to make it in..... Now what????? I don't have any FO's... I do have orange extract rum extract peppermint and the like.. Can those be used?
