Strictly told the man he would be turned in to FB. No lawyer presents things in the way he did even if he is looking for relatives for supposed inheritance..... and I only had married into that family name. Told him to head to NC , it was quite common.... been some time since the ex's momma lost the plantation home, he was 7yrs old at the time, his father died, from cancer at the time and he ended up growing up half the time with out electricity and stuff, with him mom scraping it together daily to make it, his sister was caretaker and shower of the old home for the historical society there ... and that hubby was no example of his forefathers I gotta say, lol.

Speaking of that, going to heap on the blankets tonight and turn on The Quiet Man movie and listen to it til i fall asleep. Its better than listening to noisy neighbor who works late and can the be up til 330 am making noise directly on the other side of my bedroom wall. Ugh.

I have had baking powder die over too many months of cupboard storage. Thanks for the tip on how to test both . I have never had baking soda go bad.

Is baking soda used in baking powder and is there a recipe to make baking powder ?

They do different things when you bake with it but I am not going to look it up , I just understand that basically...... some of you will know the absolute details but I just wanted to know a recipe to make my own baking powder since I dont use it fast enough most of the time only cooking for one and needing to keep my diet low carb. But if I had to do a lot more physical labor I can eat more carbs and quick breads are easy to do in an emergency rough out camp , so would love a basic recipe of how to make baking powder as I have wondered lately about that.

If it was innocent posts and not rabble rousing where it should be, I can see absolutely deleting, some of us are "rebel children", me included, so I know how that goes but if it was meant well, it makes me feel bad we may have restricted someone who was undeserving of censorship. I can understand the sensitivity levels going on, we see so much garbage going on , and want to protect folks from what might have been something way off base for this site and thats ok, but it's possible it was just confusing as heck, so better safe than sorry. Obviously if it was nasty stuff, eliminate it if you figure that out at a glance.

I have a familiarity with French and Spanish and a tiny bit of Gaelic and have dictionaries and stuff to refer to ...... so I could copy and paste passages if they are not super long and re post if it was decent material on the thread subjects.... you do get the gist of things although google translate may not be perfect, dialects can vary. I am no expert but google translate can be a very helpful tool in such a case. I could do a percentage anyway.

Basically there is so much listeria in the food processing, packaging going on, in so many many plants I think its bio warfare from terrorists working in these plants. I do not think stats are at all this common normally and this began last year.

Annarchy, size of a large shepherd, that was a cougar, bobcats are not that big. About 30 lbs or so , not more than 40. Other larger predator feline would be a lynx, and we have Canadian Lynx's showing in the region, they are a bit bigger than bobcats and coloring is different .

As a cougar, thats a teenager size for a cougar too. But still enough to have quite a fight on your hands if they are aggressive. Better to holler and scare them off any how.

Yup, it is snowing, wet clumpy icky spring snow. It should start warming up in a couple hours though, so of course while it has draped every twig and branch and tree trunk and the soil, it will MELT.

It is still used on autistic children and , here in NY state used on MH patients in some cases like pschizophrenia. I find it barbaric. I have known personally someone, a fairly young adult still at home, her parents were obviously for it or she would never have done it left to her own thinking it over, I believe. It wiped her memory only for a short time.

Better option, consistent , very good counselor. It would be better to let her use medical marijuana to give her the mental break , supervised only, if it actually helped her alleviate symptoms, and counseling. There are not many manufactured meds that help pschizophrenia in many cases, although they may help calm some of the agitation factors going, its all individual, and from what I have seen most psych's and counselors here are always looking for the most controlling methods or ignore stuff and get in a major rut with certain things they issue as a matter of course rather than really educating themselves on what happens when.....

It is only something that would 'control' aspergers/autistic's temporarily , as well..... I think it is incredibly cruel.

Lumabean's wee son and I are dealing with hay fever allergies. I hear its the birch pollen, but I don't know. I don't think it is merely grass because I have only had it this bad in the northeast US.

Lumabean is doing ok these days. I chat with her on FB once in a while.

Hoping MT. Rider does not get any more snow though! Mine will melt fast as it will warm up and we do need any moisture we can get. NE US and Atlantic states are very dry compared to normal. NO burn orders are already in affect as a result.
