  1. Plan pringles in the can (NO LOW FAT/FAT FREE). I read (here, I think) that sometimes it's one of the few things that people can keep down. Ginger Ale
  2. Yesterday, 10 pts of peaches. Had I done it the way I knew I should have (hot packed), it would have only been 7. grrrrrr . Working on carrots.
  3. 4 qts of pasta sauce Monday 2 1/2 pints of mushrooms and 5 qts and (probably)1 pt of potatoes
  4. 3 quarts and 1 pint of pasta sauce. Just a few tomatoes left and I can't decide if I should do a little more pasta sauce or salsa...... Does anyone have a good pizza sauce recipe?
  5. Not a problem TurtleMama! Violet~ Thanks for the info for drying potatoes! 5 qts of spaghetti sauce yesterday (with my neice, who will be one next week, added to the brood). Red bell peppers in the freezer.
  6. I use the recipe in the Ball Blue Book. Wash - peel- wash again. I rinse the peeler as I go, too. I need to figure out how to dry them. I want to make hashbrowns but I don't know how to cut then let alone where to begin.
  7. Yesterday 3 qts and 1 pt of potatoes, 10 pts of salsa, and rhubarb and carrots in the freezer.
  8. 6 pints of beets - I do not like beets, SAM I AM. 1/2 gallon of pasta sauce in the freezer and half of a quart bag of chopped banana peppers.
  9. 11 pints of salsa Filled a second bag of green beans in the freezer and started a bag of zucchini
  10. 3 quarts and 1 pint of potatoes, with pickle crisp!!!!!! Lots of tomatoes and peppers in the fridge, salsa when the kids go to sleep tonight.
  11. 5 qts of pasta sauce and 7 pts of seasoned tomatoes. So tired and yet I don't climb the stairs to go to bed.....
  12. Since Sunday: 6 pints of Hamburger Dills, 20 pints of stewed tomatoes, 6 pints of salsa
  13. 5 pts of dilly beans (is it better to wait the 6 weeks or can we try some at 4?) 7 ears of corn off the cob in the freezer.
  14. LOL!!! The things we do when we are in a hurry and THINK we know the recipe. 10 pints of corn
  15. 43 pints of green beans 5 dozen ears of corn ready to be processed in the morning
  16. Over the last 3 days - 36 pts corn; 22 pts green beans with 2 large containers left. Finish the beans and on to the blackberry jam, banana nut bread butter, salsa, pasta sauce, and passing out.
  17. 22 pints of corn (plain not creamed, although DH asked me if we should do it again ) and 7 1/2 pints of blueberry rhubarb jam. I found out that the new stove is not a great pressure canning stove. It was the first time I used it to pressure can and used the power burner. It kept climbing even on low at one point, I had it on the simmer to get it where it needed to be.
