What a wonderful time that must have been, don't you just hold those times close and relive them in your head. I love sharing time like that with my DH. Just him and I and the great outdoors. aaaa Didn't mind you sharing this at all.

I tried to make some vinegar last year. want to give it a try again this year, I got the Mother. I think i thown it out to soon; that that nastiness was part of the proccess. learning by mistake.

get a popcorn popper, a bag of popcorn, a gift certificate at a movie rental, or get a couple of movies.put in a large bowl and wrap. check dallor store for bowl. make a family gift box for Christmas breakfast. put each of the childrens favorte cereal in. with their own bowls.again check dallor store, for colorful bowls. make up a nice furit and nut basket. does the family like to read?? get a book that they would like. a pillow for each and they can have family reading time.

Dawn we also check the oil and transmisson oils. take the dip sticks out and wipe it with your fingers and rub them together and see if it feels griddy, ... transmisson trouble in the near furture if it is the oil usually trouble with the crank. or pistons.

rain almost all day today... seems like I stayed busy and got nothing done. And now i am worn out. DD and her family had to the Lake to get some work done on the place over there so they can start staying there. they need a hot water heater before they do start staying over there. everyone have a blessed night

Good for you Mono.... i would of done the same. we have lots of water that we canned to drink and more put up in other continuer for washing and such. we have a wood stove that will provide heating and cooking and some wood up. would like to put more up. meds will be the hardest to keep on hand we do try to stock what we can... but some of it isn't possible. So trying to learn what herb help with what and have them on hand.
