  1. i have a quwestion, it may be a stupid one, so bear with me. what IS meat tenderizer. to me, a meat tenderizer is a mallot of sorts...you hit meat with it to make it tender. what do it put in a recipe that calls for a teaspoon of it? i have seen a few erecipes about that call for "meat tenderizer", and so i had to ask.
  2. neat o! i have a very limited amount of storage space, i dont even have a garage! (darn multi-family dwellings!) but i have a storage room, and i need to find a way to re-organize it so that i can fit a deep-freeze into it. this cieling storage is a great idea. at the moment i have a wodden bar across the roof that i hang things on. heh heh a lot of great ideas here! (makes me SUPER glad to be a part of mrs.s!)
  3. ok, so i am going through old jokes...for the heck of it, and i laughed till i cried and i felt like my cheeks were gonna fall off...LMAO so i thought i should bump this up so we can all laugh at it!
  4. shall i assume that one package of certo is the same as one package of berNARdin?
  5. wow...this sounds awsome! darlene, you peel garlic the same way i do! i took cooking classes when i was a new mom(17 or 18 years old at the time) and that is how i was taught. my cooking teacher (Velma) hates garlic presses, she refuses to use them. lol so she taughtme how to make a very fine garlic paste using the flat of the knife and salt. its awsome for garlic butter. could i use this recipe for other spices, like making ginger jelly? just use ginger instead of garlic? i would be great on toast with honey! what if you added lemon zest to ginger jelly? i have never eally canned much before, and so i am just kinda getting ideas, let me know if they are too far off the wall!
  6. i bought 2 whole chickens to make this...BUT i dont have apot big enough! hah hah....oh well, one at a time i guess. i cant wait to try this!
  7. what about particulate respiratiors? ihave one that is rated to be safe for use against isocyanates. it is made by 3M and i have been certified fit tested and trained on how to wear it. also, the N95 masks that you were talking about, you mentioned that they dont last as long when they are wet? how about usung them in a humid climate? how would that affect thier effectivness?
