Synn
I am looking for recipes on how to use these.. I have been boiling them in water all afternoon.. Can I make veggie soup out of them? Anyone know how? What else can I make with them? Link to comment
Freetobeme
You can make soup stock from any kind of bones. The stock can be canned or used immediately. Large bones are usually cut into smaller pieces or cracked to allow the marrow to cook out. Personally, I'd throw in some veggies, and maybe some rice, onions, garlic, black pepper, a little salt...darn, I'm making myself hungry! Link to comment
rockncook
I'd also use them to flavor pinto or great northern or red beans and then serve with cornbread. Oh man, now I'm hungry, too! Link to comment
ejagno
I use pork neck bones to flavor spaghetti sauce. you can use them for soup just the same way you use beef. I add onions celery, carrots, potatoes, I would add some cabbage to mine too but then the rest of my family wouldn't touch it. Link to comment
