Vic303
Here is a link to a recent article I read concerning Vit D & influenza. It looks interesting, and it should be easy to up EVERYONE's vit D levels, unless you live near the pole where you actually get several months of NO sunshine... http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=51913 Link to comment
Mare
Funny, I just read a similar article sent to me by a friend. Since I am inside so much, especially in the winter, I am adding a Vitamin D to my regimen in addition to my C with D added. The report I read said that even if you get the RDA, it is not enough if you are not out in the sun. Thanks for posting. It reinforces what I read. Link to comment
Mt_Rider
Very interesting. Sunlight is also taken in thru the eyes. Since I began several years ago, to purposefully take off my ever-present sunglasses in the fall, I have not had any trace of the Seasonal Affective Disorder (a very uncomfortable thing that happens as we get less and less light going toward winter solstice). I hope they discover that Vit D is a missing link in our modern society. Cuz it's rather easy to fix. Go outside. Obviously in moderation. MtRider Link to comment
