Drying Kiwi

Experiment and these are great! Learned to slice by hand however as they do tend to mush if I use my old faithful Veg-O-Matic! Am also drying Asian Pears right now - both of these are good. Kind of like the lady who dries Pineapple which is outstanding, they are so sweet and candy like. Dried fruit is such a treat, try the Kiwi and let me know how you like it.

How thick were you slicing them? and about how long do they take?

How ripe were you're Kiwi when you dried them? We like them pretty ripe and mushy here. That's one thing I haven't tried drying, and probably should have as we grow our own and usually give them away by the grocery sack full.
