Ordinarily, this would be a matter of going to the site and ordering a replacement. However, this particular canner was made in 1940 LOL. Presto/National no longer sells replacement parts for tha tmodel. Imagine THAT! LOL. Anyway, it is a neoprene thingie...and I don't know what to substitute. Any ideas, or did I waste my canner money?
