mistylady
What direction should the fan blades be turning? Clockwise or counter clockwise? Pardon the short post but we are having power flickers and it makes it hard to stay online! Our first storm is here - high winds and rain turning into snow tonight! Thanks everyone and stay warm! Vic303
If the fwd edge is 'up' then the air gets pushed down & you feel a cool breeze. This is your typical summer setting. If the fwd edge is 'down' then the air gets pulled up, and the warm air on the ceiling gets pushed over and down the walls and the warm air gets circulated. This is your typical winter setting. HSmom
I've never been able to figure this out, so I run one fan one way and the other fan the other way. LOL! Seriously, Vic, yours is the first explanation that's made good sense to me. Thanks! Link to comment
