Momo Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 I went to the Senior Center today. Dh is eligible to use their puters. They have about 10 nice new computers with big beautiful screens. They have subscriptions to Ancestry and 2 other genealogy websites. They allow seniors to use it for genealogy on most Fridays. It is also on DSL which is so fast if you are used to dial up. If you are on a budget or have a slow connection you might want to see if your community/school/library has a similar set up. Link to comment

Snowmom Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 Oh, Momo, now we know where you will spend you time. We did go to DSL so we could get on without locking up our phone line. When we looked at the cost, it was less to do this than to have the second line, so we no longer have 2 lines. You have fun and if you want to do some checking for others, just let me know.
