ZEER POTS

Recommended Posts

These sound great in theory, but in the US they might not work as well. A Zeer pot won't work well in a more humid climate... it works best in desert dryness.

For one thing, one of our friends put together a zeer pot and ended up having a black mold grow in it. And she's in the desert southwest.

They don't work in humidity. And they are terribly heavy after watering.

She tried different things to prevent it, but I don't know if she ever got it to work without mold.
