Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

 

About 10% of women have this condition. It causes alot of hormonal problems and can lead to many other health problems.

 

Some symptoms include:

irregular periods &/or bleeding

increased hair growth on face, toes or other odd places

oily skin or dandruff

weight gain

high cholesterol

high blood pressure

skin tags

Diagnosed in 2006, went through some treatment to be able to concive again, didn't happen. frown

 

I've lost at least 50lbs since being diagnosed....YAY!

Mama Tiger, could you post some of the herbal treatment suggestions? There could be some ladies who this would help. They might be too embarassed to ask you to post them. blush

 

HappyGirl..that is great news about losing the weight!

 

I am sure I had PCOS a few years back. Before it had a name or much was known about it. I have had some of the serious side effects because of this. Fortunately, I am doing pretty good now.
