brendajo
I have some apples in my dehydrator now, could I also put bananas in at the same time? tia. Link to comment
Cat
If you put them in at the same time, with relatively the same comparative "drying time", it's fine. If you have thin bananas and thick apples, or vice-versa, you can slow things down significantly for both, which isn't good. For example, I wouldn't dry peas and pineapple slices at the same time. Onions and garlic will affect the other foods, so they should be separate. I'm racing through right now... be back later if you have more questions. Link to comment
FLGardenGirl
I have frequently dried apples & bananas at the same time. Iusually take the bananas out, then continue on a bit longer with the apples. Link to comment
