We eat lots of refried beans and I want to make my own. How can I do this? I don't think I can do the actual recipe can I...because it has oil in it? Link to comment
Violet Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Sorry, no mashed or pureed vegetables are safe to can. Especially with any oil added. You can only safely can the whole beans, then you mash them after you open your jars of beans. Link to comment
