moldy
Granola Bars 1 cup butter or margarine (or use ½ cup butter and ½ cup peanut butter) 1 cup favorite jelly or jam 4 cups quick oatmeal 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp salt Total of 1 to 1 ½ cups mix-ins (coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc) Melt butter and jam together. Stir in remaining ingredients. Press into greased 15x10 inch pan and bake at 375* for 15-20 minutes. Cut into bars while warm. These are really nice soft chewy granola bars.. My favorite is chocolate chip peanut butter, using the peanut butter, apple jelly, and chocolate chips. Link to comment

moldy
I like these because they are not hard, but chewy. I can make a huge pan of them for less than 1/2 of what I"d pay for one box of 10 in the local grocery. Link to comment
Vlynn
I made these today, with apricot jam. My family inhaled them! Definitely a keeper. Thanks. Link to comment
