muscadine jelly?

I was given some muscadines today.What is the best way to extract the juice for jelly? Some say crush,some say cook skins separate then add back tu pulp.I am confused so HELP please.tia

I cook mine, cool and hang from a jelly bag. If you squeeze it, it comes out cloudy. Just let it drip if you want it clear. Leave it to cool overnight and pour off slowly, leaving the sediment on the bottom. If you don't do the cooling step, you may have crystals in your jelly.

If you think you will keep making jelly, a steam juicer is fabulous !
