can I can juice?

if I buy the big jugs of juice from Costco (sometimes it comes in a set of two), could I split that up into quart-sized canning jars, and can it? Would the heat change the taste of say, apple juice, or grape juice?

 

We love juice, and I'm looking at it as a source of Vit C, variety from water, etc, but we struggle to finish one of those big jugs quickly... (thankfully my kids are not juice addicted, but I don't want to waste it)

 

I'm also wondering if canning would extend the expiration date?

 

 

So if canning won't work, that just means I need to buy smaller jugs of juice.

 

Any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Can turn it into wine and it'll store for years.

 

But not sure on the canning part. Sure someone else will answer.
