sassenach
I would love various recipes, other than really hot spicy ones since I cannot tolerate them in my GI tract. For meat sauces and marinades. Link to comment
HSmom
Tired of your own cooking, are you? I get that way, too. Here is a recipe that I like to BBQ: Marinated Grilled Chicken Recipe 1 clove crushed garlic ½ cup brown sugar ½ tsp salt 2 Tbsp prepared mustard 1 tsp raspberry jam (optional) ¼ cup cider vinegar 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice 3 Tbsp olive oil ¼ tsp pepper 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves Combine all ingredients in re-sealable food storage plastic bag. Freeze, if desired, or marinate for 3½ hours or overnight. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade. Grill chicken over medium-hot coals OR broil for 3-5 minutes per side or until chicken in no longer pink in center. Serve at once. - - - - - - - This is pretty yummy too: Shrimp, Grilled & Marinated ½ lb jumbo shrimp 1 Tbsp oil 1½ - 2½ tsp lemon juice 2 –3 green onion tops, thinly sliced 1 Tbsp chopped parsley 1 clove garlic, pressed ¼ tsp each basil, dry mustard and salt Place shrimp in a glass bowl. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over shrimp. Cover and marinate for 3 to 4 hours. Grill over hot coals for 5 – 7 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time. Link to comment
Rezgirl
Recently picked up a container of Tones Canadian Steak Seasoning at Sam's Club. The recipe for marinade on the container is yummy. The seasoning is spicy in a black pepper sort of way. It's good spinkled on baked potatoes, too. Link to comment
