susie
I bought six of them today at the store....a challenge to myself...and all I can find is recipes for pickled ones, and no recipes for canning them. Can anyone help me out with ideas? Thanks in advance, susie Link to comment
mommato3boys
Sorry I haven't heard of canned pig feet just pickled. I am sure if you look up canning pork and follow that recipe you will be good to go. Link to comment
Canned Nerd
Pickled Pigs Feet is the staple Southern recipe, but you might have more success with a regular recipe by doing a Google search for the British term "Pig Trotters" which are becoming popular there. I am not aware of any specific pressure canning recipe for pigs feet/trotters but it would be the same for any pork recipe, with or without the bone. Link to comment
