YYY Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Happy New Year Everybody, I haven't checked in for a while. I've been working since August ( yippee ) and my time is short. However, I do read here quite often. I went to K-Mart today and they had the box of 12 rings AND lids for $1.50 (regular mouth), regular mouth lids (box of 12) for 80¢ each, and wide mouth lids (box of 12) for $1. Just wanted to let you know in case you want to stock up. Of course, I cleaned out what they had. YYY Link to comment

Violet Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Crazy, you can relax, I didn't go to Kmart, even though I was in their parking lot after going to Walgreens. I have never seen canners at Kmart, just some pressure cookers. As long as you stick with a brand name canner like Presto, Mirro, or All American you are fine. Check your local thrift stores for good used ones. I got a nice Presto not long ago for only $7 ! Link to comment
