Jingles
LOL That is too funny. My son talked just this week about eating June Bugs. I had to talk him out of it! Link to comment
Stephanie
Just the other day my youngest ds (just turned 5) told me he was going to eat the HUMONGOUS MILLIPEDE that we found. I mean it was HUGE and we were having a lot of fun examiining the THOUSAND LEGS! I said "WHAT! Don't you even think about eating that thing!" With a look of sheer motherly horror, I'm sure. He said, "There's a lot of meat in there!" http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...sa%3DX%26um%3D1 Link to comment
sassenach
I think centipedes are poisonous, Stephanie. I hope your young man there doesn't go ahead and eat one! Link to comment

SlingMama
Well, the cicadas are back and the kids and I read you can soak them in brine, roast them in the oven and eat them - rumor is they taste a bit like potato chips. I'm wondering if I can bring myself to eat cicada potato chips But even thinking about eating a millipede That is the kid of a survivalist! Link to comment
Homemaker
One summer when my husband and I led the teen department for vacation Bible school, we offered extra points for any team in which a person would eat a worm. We never dreamed anybody would be willing. They were! The first one was this teeny little girl. Boy did we hear about it from the parents. The poor pastor had them calling him the next day. Good grief, some people are so uptight. Link to comment
