rabbit ranger Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 My DH ended up at the ER yesterday after returning the inmate work crew back to the unit. this is in Az. He was driving up from Superior when he felt ill and pulled over for a bit. He finally made it back to the unit when someone noticed(thank God) he wasnt acting right and escorted him to Medical for an evaluation. There they transported him to the hospital. He was having chest pains and having a high fever. Figuring it was heat related they did an ekg, checked his blood for enzymes, hoping to rule out a heart attack. They admitted him for observation. In the am a cardiologist came to examine him and they still cant figure out what really happened. So they send him home and he has to see the same heart doc FRiday for a stress test. In the meantime Im freaking out and praying that his heart is sound and fine. Im so stressed Im having dizzy spells. Im going to bed and hope we all get a sound nights sleep.
