Best Canner We've Found

Couple years ago while at a barn sale we found what we thought at the time was a bread baking oven and we got it for ..... $6.00!!

BUT........

While Lori was reading a Countryside magazine today (we LOVE this magazine) she came across an article that talked about Conservo Canners- looked at the description and yelled for Michael GUESS WHAT???? Headed to the celler where it is stored and WOWEEEEEE sure enough we have a Conservo Canner and never even knew it until know!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH!

Anyone else have one (pictured below from website)????

you do know we will not use it for canning anything .

 

But now we have one of the very old canners. and the door says pat. 1907

OH, we have that covered too....

We have a very old wooden one with the doors and the one door where you put the block of ice. Have it set up but haven't had to use it yet. But we are ready if the need comes up.
