Amishway Homesteaders
I know ICK! But it is the middle of winter here and not much going on outside so maybe it is time to cleanse. But was looking for something natural and easy? so what have you tried and what has worked OR not worked for you? Link to comment
Vic303
A carton of "Half Lytely" was enough to 'cleanse' my colon completely. Mind you, it also involved a day of no solid food in advance. But my doc said it did a 'nice job' of cleaning everything out. Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
ya........ thanks but no thanks! I was hoping for a 'food diet' for a few days? Tried the cabbage one and didn't like it so I am still looking? Link to comment
Crazy4Canning
There is a really great program I like - Dr. Natura www.drnatura.com You have a fiber dose, capsules (if your program needs it) and then a nighttime tea that is really pretty tasty (as compared to dirt). It's not terribly expensive, as compared to organic programs, and I've had great success with it. I do drink the morning fiber with OJ though and drink half my weight in ounces of water every day. I'm starting one again once I finish treatment for this kidney infection. Link to comment
The MacKinnon
I eat my favorite ice cream: banana split by Bluebell. I'm inconsistently lactose intolerant. Link to comment
Violet
Magnesium. It works for sure. Think Milk of Magnesia, that is what it is, magnesium. Link to comment

Violet
I take magnesium every night, along with calcium to help me sleep. It relaxes your muscles. Good for your heart, too, since your heart is a muscle. My heart also beats irratic if I don't take it. Helps my legs not cramp so badly at night. Something so simple as magnesium can really be helpful. Link to comment
