furbabymom
I am completely smitten with this recipe, and can't wait to try it out, but I thought I'd check with the experts here and make sure it's safe to can - http://www.foodinjars.com/2010/06/25/june-...ueberry-butter/ Thanks! Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
Yes please let us know if we can can this? (Just posting here so I can find it again) ~ Lori~ Link to comment
Canned Nerd
I believe the recipe has canning instructions in it and I see nothing in the recipe itself that would be dangerous. Fortunately Jams and Jellies aren't in the same category as veggies. Link to comment
furbabymom
Yep, I saw the canning instructions, but I've been burned before by canning recipes I found on the internet, so I thought I'd check and make sure. Thanks! Link to comment
Violet
It is fine other than you need to bring foods cooked in a crockpot to a full boil on the stove before you put them in the jars. Blueberries are quite acidic, so this is OK. It has a lemon added to help. Link to comment

Jori
I just pulled 7 1/2 pints out of the WBC. It smells wonderful when it is cooking. I added a splash of lemon juice because the color was changing from oxidation when I did the first puree. I will personally cut the spices in half next time just because I felt they were more noticable than the blueberries. I did the second puree after the cooking in the crock pot and it is Ultra smooth. It also made 7 1/2 pints and not 3 but I'm not going to complain about that! Link to comment
