Question about freezing

I've had trouble in the past using both kinds of tortillas after thawing. Either they dry out in the freezer and get hard or stick more when cooking.

Does anyone have any tips about how to wrap tortillas for freezing so that they cook like fresh after thawing?? I'd like to stock up my freezer but am hesitant to buy commercial tortillas unless I know they will work well later. I know I could make them fresh but it's time consuming. Any help is appreciated if someone has figured it out. Thanks.

Have you tried wrapping the packages in foil ? It probably has more to do with your freezer. Is is a frost free ? If so, that is why. They defrost and freeze, thaw a little, freeze, over and over. That is how they are frost free. Takes a big toll on your food.

maybe if you put a piece of parchment paper (wax paper) between each tortilla then wrap them in foil would help.
