Snowmom
Here are some things that count for miles. These are as you can count them, 1 mile will = one mile. ********* This will be counted as 1/2 hour = one mile These will be one mile for each hour. ********* will be down and up 10 times = one mile ******** These will be 30 minutes = one mile ******** You will have to be the judge of these. We have been counting 1 hour as a mile, but, sometimes it isn't so. Therefore, I'm letting you be the judge of these. ************ Here are my totals: Walking 3 1/2 Riding bike 17 Stairs 1 1/2 Dishes 1 House Work 3/4 Laundry 1/2 Shopping 3 1/2 Other 2 Total.......... 29 3/4 miles. Ok, who will be ??? ********* Who is going to join us? Anyone who wants to start exercising or walking or whatever, count your miles and add them up this week and post them next week when either Momo or I make the walking post. Link to comment
Annarchy
Here is my list for last week: Cleaning all day Saturday, 2 miles. It has been windy here and dust accumulates in piles in the corners and on everything. Walked 4 blocks to the Post Office three times. 1 mile. Walked 1/4 mile with my camera. Open/close the store, 2 1/4 miles. My total 5 1/2 miles. Not too shabby. I do not think I can compare to your totals Snowmom. You are doing great! Link to comment

Snowmom
Ann, you are doing just fine. Where are those who said they walked???? I know I have to do this as it is good for my health. Bones and high this and high that, you know. Those things the dr is always telling you that you need to get lower count. There are days I have to push myself to go down and walk or ride. But, I am in hopes to do it at least 3 or 4 times a week. Then, maybe it will be easier to go down just one more day, and then maybe one more. If I could go down and walk or ride or both 6 days a week, I would really be putting in the miles. It really doesn't matter if you get 2 miles in or 150 miles in, at least you are trying. Come on people, help add the miles up. Link to comment
