Cat Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 I've eaten them that old. As long as it has never been thawed and refrozen, it should be fine. If you have a place where the plastic broke open and you have a small area of freezer burn, you can cut that section out when it's thawed. Sometimes freezer burn will make it taste "funny" in the area of the burn after roasting. Cutting it out takes it away. Put a bit of oil over the raw meat where there is no skin *IF* you do any cutting. Link to comment
