Rain day 4

I live in one of the county's in Indiana that was hit hardest by the drought this year.

This week It has rained every day. Yesterday most of it went north of me but we did get a few drops.

It's raining now for the 4th day in a row.

Glad you are getting the much needed rain. I heard last night most of the state needs a good foot of rain. We had a quick shower this morning, too.

 

I saw the national map last night on the weather channel and was amazed we weren't part of the drought. We are definitely dry but I know not as bad as others because the corn in the non-irrigated fields have corn, it's small but it's there.

We had a storm roll in shortly before 4 am. It was LOUD! Not really the time you want to be woke up when your alarm goes off at 4:45! We need the rain, though!

 

It's very hot and very humid today, so I haven't gone out to check the rain gauge.

We had a brief shower go through this morning. It wasn't much but it was appreciated. It will help the lawns if nothing else. I can't remember the last time the grass was mowed.
