gofish
I live in one of the county's in Indiana that was hit hardest by the drought this year. http://www.hoosieragtoday.com/index.php/2012/07/19/more-indiana-counties-may-be-declared-disaster/ This week It has rained every day. Yesterday most of it went north of me but we did get a few drops. It's raining now for the 4th day in a row. Edited July 26, 2012 by gofish Quote Link to comment
Jori
Glad you are getting the much needed rain. I heard last night most of the state needs a good foot of rain. We had a quick shower this morning, too. I saw the national map last night on the weather channel and was amazed we weren't part of the drought. We are definitely dry but I know not as bad as others because the corn in the non-irrigated fields have corn, it's small but it's there. Quote Link to comment
out_of_the_ordinary
We had a storm roll in shortly before 4 am. It was LOUD! Not really the time you want to be woke up when your alarm goes off at 4:45! We need the rain, though! It's very hot and very humid today, so I haven't gone out to check the rain gauge. Jeepers
We had a brief shower go through this morning. It wasn't much but it was appreciated. It will help the lawns if nothing else. I can't remember the last time the grass was mowed. Quote Link to comment
