CrabGrassAcres Posted August 22, 2012 Share Posted August 22, 2012 If you bought them tenderized, you can go ahead and can them like any meat. Brown them first if you want more flavor. I wouldn't flour or bread them before canning and if they weren't tenderized on purchase, I wouldn't bother. They will get very tender during canning. Probably good as fajitas. Good with gravy and mashed taters. The stock they make is the best for gravy! Expect the meat to be falling apart tender though. Quote Link to comment
