Jeepers Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 Son came over to mow today and as we were walking out of the garage a huge fox came trotting across the street and went between my house and the neighbor's house and into the woods. She was so pretty and red. I haven't seen a fox for years; especially in the subdivision and in broad daylight. Of course I didn't have a camera. There were also 6 big hawks circling around overhead too. It's hard to imagine they can soar way up there and still see little mice and prey on the ground. Quote Link to comment
Daylily Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 How neat! I think foxes are beautiful. We used to hear them yipping up in the hollow every summer. I think they had a den there. Now we have coyotes here and I rarely see or hear a fox. Quote Link to comment

She probably lives in the woods behind me and I've just never seen her. I suppose it could be a him. We have deer, rabbits, squirrel, mice, raccoons, possums, hoot owls, wood peckers and now fox I guess. If I see bears and wolves...I'm out of here. Quote Link to comment
