  1. Why haven't I seen this before? Too many darn threads hiding from me.
  2. I really do want to learn to tan, I know I won't be able to do it anytime soon though, although I'd like to be able to get the supplies for it. My daughter told me she wants rabbit fur underwear. Funny child, she's so concerned for cute little animals, but she can't wait for us to have rabbits so we can kill them and make lots of fur stuff. She already is planning blankets, clothes, jackets and such. (Maybe I shouldn't have let her read Clan of the Cave Bear already, she wants to be like Ayla)
  3. Nice! I never knew about the earthworms. I want to have rabbits when I get my property and my Earthship.

    Aprons (1)

I have a half apron (I could really use the bib type, my poor shirts), but I love it because it has a hand towel sewn right on it, and a couple nice size pockets. I wish I would just sit down sometime and look at it, and make another one.(cuz I can sew? lol. I like to pretend!) I'm pretty sure this one is old, and I'm making it fade. The pattern is some vintage looking stuff and the handtowel was bright red. But I use it all the time.

  8. Hi everyone! Remember me? lol. I haven't been able to get online, as the phone finally got disconnected and then the computer that I had at my house for a year and a half was taken back by the owner. My new computer doesn't have a modem and I don't have a moniter for it either.
  9. Hi all, I haven't been on in forever, phone got disconnected, and the $ I had saved for it, had to go on something else, so who knows? But I'm on a friends computer right now. I have received 10 ornaments and love them all. i can't wait to get a tree so I can hang them up! They are on my corkboard right now and I show them to everyone who comes to my house! to all.
  10. True, I've also had green, blue, black, and red, and I've bleached it, (turned strawberry blonde). (not all at the same time though ) Did you know the person below me loves to collect something very unusual....

    Tragic Fire

A tragic fire on Monday destroyed the personal library of President George W. Bush. Both of his books have been lost. A Presidential spokesman said the President was devastated, as he had not finished coloring the second one.

  15. Hi all. My phone hasn't been shut off yet, but my computer has been going wacky and I keep getting kicked off. Urgh! Hope everyone has a great day. Blessed be.
  16. Good news. Beth called me today to tell me that Summer has earned herself some "cat medicine". She does indeed have cat scratch fever.
  17. I got mine too...was looking through them the other week, trying to get them all together, and thought I'd lost Cat's! Didn't realize I hadn't gotten it yet, lol. Maybe I need a day off.

    Someone help me...

Another sneak attack on Cat............ I'll shake up my Dr. Pepper, spray you from across the room, you'll be so sticky that I can throw my old sweet hearts from Valentine's Day, (that have somehow managed to hide on top of the fridge til last week), and they will stick all over you. Now you're covered with hearts...... Now, where'd you hide that pudding popper? I just made some butterscotch....
  19. Good morning all. It's a wet, rainy day here today. Not too cold though, so that's nice. I'm just not a cold weather person. Snowmom, I hope goes good at the dentist for you. I am going to Jackie's dad's today to start cleaning. Monday we went to his empty house (we're finished with the inside), and loaded the roofing into her truck. She had had some boys tear it off over the weekend, and they will be doing the new roof. But we got to clean up the mess. I didn't realize I was going to be sore yesterday, ugh. I almost fell when I got out of bed, I didn't realize my muscles were so sore, oops. Luckily there was nobody awake to see me do that! Costco is great if you have enough money to save so much money, lol. Hope everyone is doing great. Blessed be.
  20. I talked to Beth last night, and she said Summer had had her cat scan done, and the anethesialogist said that when they put her under, that he had never seen a child with so much fight. I made something for them and brought it over to her, and she told me whatever it was that I was doing, it was working. In 3-5 days we will know the results of the tests they did yesterday. Apparently, it could be a very bad case of "cat scratch fever". I guess 95% of cases of that are wrongly diagnosed as lymphoma. So there's a very good hope that it's something else and she won't have to go through chemo or anything painful like that. Beth thanked me three times and said she owed me big time for my awesome energy and gave me three hugs. So I extend the thanks to all of you who have been praying for Summer. Thank you everyone. When I find out more, I will be sure to let you know. Blessed be.
  21. Oh, those poor kids, my prayers go out to all the children that have to deal with that. Cops make me so angry when they don't care. I've called them about drunk drivers (when had one behind us one year during Christmas), and they don't really care, they only seem to get them when it's to late.
  22. Yesterday one of my neighbors stopped by to ask me to work some magic. She told me to do whatever it is that I can do to help her daughter. Now that I have permission, I can ask for healing prayers. Summer River Rain is a beautiful happy three year old girl. Recently it has been discovered that there's a lump in her arm. Her parents have been taking her to the doctor and they were told it MIGHT be lymphoma. She has elevated levels of LDH in her system, and has been having night sweats (that weren't worried about as her dad had had them until he was five). She has had a chest xray and her lungs are clear which is a very good sign. She will be having the lymph node looked out and maybe taken out in the next few days. Her mother believes, as I do, that if you think hard enough about something, you can think it into being. So we don't want this to be nothing and everyone think it is and think it into being. But any prayers or healing thoughts, from any religious aspect are appreciated and wanted by her mom. I would have posted this before (another neighbor told me about Summer a couple days ago), but without her mother's permission, I didn't feel I could. Summer is so beautiful and always happy. She's so sweet and loving (as are most three year olds). She knows something is going on, she has asked her mom to take the thing out of her arm because it "hurts me on the inside," but she has so much life energy coming from her, you can see she's not ready to go anywhere. Thank you and blessed be.
  23. I put all my samples in the family emergency backpacks. Every family member has one, the kids don't have much, but you can never have too much toothpaste! Maybe not going to be realistically used in an emergency, but compforting to know you do have soap. Of course, my bag is heaviest, female stuff and all.... I have also saved samples to put in the Secret Pal Spring Fling Exchange . Love to share with fellow sample lovers.
  24. Dutch oven? What's that? , turns out I can make chicken mush)
