I think another good tip if you are a seller is to offer insurance, or if you don't, and someone requests it, put a BRIGHT post-it on the package to remind yourself when you get to the post officeand don't forget to get the insurance! I have had one person request insurance and I forgot! It was only a two or three block walk to the post office, but it was a blustery day and I had my three year old with me, so by the time I got there, it had totally left my mind! I woke up in the middle of the night a few nights later because of it! Talk about a guilty conscience! Luckily, my buyer was understanding, got the package, and was forgiving! ((((Cat))))

Good morning everyone. I was busy yesterday, I finally made it to the fairgounds where I normally go every couple weeks to do massage and I did four (half hour) massages. So I made some money to buy some business cards, thank goodness, since I only had one left! Then I got back to my shop and a friend stopped by and wanted a half hour massage and then my aunt came in and she wanted a half hour massage too!

I heard the phone companies make millions each year from their payphones. Wrong numbers and phones that eat the money...if you call them, they are supposed to get your money back or conect you to the right number or whatever. But so many people don't have the time or just think, "eh, it's only fifty cents." So that's all more money for the phone companies! So many scams!

Good morning all. Brightest blessings and hope everyone had a great mother's day. Saturday my DH took me to a chinese restaurant for dinner. Yum! Then he told me that on Sunday he would take us all to a movie and it would be my choice. So on Sunday we went and saw Van Helsing. DD started to scream once and jumped a couple times, and DS didn't scream at all, but he did jump a few times. My neighbor wanted to see that too, but her 8 year old DD is scared by a lot of movies. Even the Scooby-Doo movie. My children are told that it's not real and we always watch the "making of" whenever we can. It was the first movie DS has ever been to, and he was very good, hardly talked, and when he did, it was a whisper! So I had a fun day. We did something very out of the ordinary for us. (last time DH and I saw a movie at a theater together, it was when Jurassic Park 3 was in theaters!) Happy Monday all!

Oh, Snowmom, I hope Prince feels better soon. Poor guy! It's sunny and 41 already. So I'll be able to keep my shop door open today. Yesterday I attended the local Chamber of Commerce meeting and it was interesting. Three people asked for my business card, but my aunt hasn't made those up yet (seeing as I just got my phone a couple days ago), but I did have the flyers, so I gave them those. I was told I could pass them out to everyone if I wanted, but I didn't think about that and I didn't have enough with me. Then I forget about those crazy people for the day. Shannon. I was a stay at home mom until a week ago, but now I'm opening up my own shop a couple miles from mu house. DH and I have 2 children, a 7 1/2 year old girl, Aiyana, and a 3 1/2 year old boy, Dalen. I'm also a massage therapist, so that's one of the things I opened my shop for, and selling my craft stuff, and taking other people's craft stuff on consignment (maybe?). Glad you decided to stay Shannon, it's a great place to be!

Good Morning All! Yesterday I painted some more. Now I just have to wait for the last wall to get sanded so I can paint that. Trying to figure out where to put this stuff of the other guys is tough. He says he doesn't care where stuff goes, but I always wonder if the one thing I throw out will be the one thing he likes! He sells body jewelry and said if I want to take care of all his sales and I'm honest, he'll make another order and the profit off it, will go towards more inventory (whatever I want, he doesn't care), and after we are doing good, we can split the money. He's not so much care about that part, and I'm so glad, it just means I get to really make it mine! I'm sure missing my kids though! If I have the door open, people come in, lots have people have asked my prices and when I'm going to open! The sooner the better! I hope everyone has a great day!

How about the Xanth? series from Piers Anthony? My best friend and I read those when we were in middle school. I also like the Secret Country, the Hidden Land, and the Whim of the Dragon by Pamela Dean. Those 3 are still my favorites, but hard to find as they are out of print. I also read Clan of the Cave Bear when I was 10, but my mom wouldn't let me read the rest until I was older, as the others have the very explicit sex scenes.

Morning! It's 40 and grey today, hope it will get lighter, we were all talking about going camping this weekend. It's much funner with sunshine! I get to go to work today.
