  1. Midnightmom. I don't think I reviewed many things of interest. I did review some reindeer stickers that probably won't make it. I gave them a one star. All of them are being held up for review right now but I'll let ya know. They are supposed to send an email if they are accepted or rejected. I remember I also did a set of mugs and lamp shades. I know there were 3-4 more but I can't remember right off. Oh, the Rolling Stones new CD. Five stars baby! Gotta keep giving them encouragement to...live. Son keeps sending me Stones memes thinking it ticks me off. Love the headphones!!! Coosi is a name I recognize. I know I've bought that brand before. I think it was the ear phones that just clip over the ears. I use those a lot when I'm in bed listening to the radio or Old Time Radio programs and I roll over on them when I fall asleep. Or if I want to lie on my side I can just slip one of the earphones off of my ear. Not the best quality for listening to real music like yours and the wire break from heavy use. But yours are for serious listening. Good Bass huh? Hummm. I can just imagine Charlies drums in Paint It Black in those! Go ahead and do it. Let me know.
  2. Mt. Rider, remember way back in the day we used to have balsa wood type toy propeller airplanes? The propeller was on a rubber band, the other end was hooked into the body of the plane. You would turn the propeller around and around with your finger then let it fly. It's the same thing with the butterfly. The head of the butterfly acts like a propeller. I wound each one up 40-45 turns and when the rubber band unwound, it made it fly. They fly as long as there is still twist in the rubber band. Hardest part was getting all 20 wound up at the same time and in the box. As soon as you stop turning the 'propeller' part they immediately take off very fast. I had to sit on the floor with the box and use my feet to hold the butterflies down while I kept winding more. Then get the book I bought him in there to help hold them down so I could get the lid on.
  3. "How did she do that!?" And yes, that is Andy Griffith in the background whistling. Hillbillies. LOL His mom was trying to hurry him along so the video wouldn't be to long to send in an email. He called me later and was pretty excited. Dad said he played with them the most today. Mom said there are butterflies all over the house now. I'm why they can't have nice things. 4. Sorry to hear little River was sick. Poor little girl. Of all days... We used to say our house looked like a Toys R Us exploded in our house on Christmas morning too. Becca_Anne, I'm going to be needing a new vacuum over here and I've thought about getting a stick one too. I agree it would be nice on the steps. Let us know how you like yours. Ben isn't the only one excited to hear about a new puppy! Can't wait to see pictures and learn a new name. I spent a lot of time on the phone and texting today and on the line watching canning videos. Amazon asked me to review some stuff I had bought quite a while ago so I spent a couple of hours doing that. You know me...I'm long winded. I'll tell you what though, One thing I'm not going to miss about this hotel is housekeeping. I can't believe they came today. Christmas Day. They deserved the day off in my opinion. Maybe 1-2 people for an emergency clean up or something but the rooms could wait another day. I told them to just take my trash and forget about the bed and bathroom. It never really needs it anyway. Real issue was I was in here all sprawled out on the bed eating a sandwich and had to hurry and get some shorts on to answer the door before they walked in. I hate to have pants on in the bed bunching up under my knees. And I wasn't expecting anyone.
  5. DIL just sent some video's of G-son opening some of my presents. He was thrilled. I was thrilled. Darn hormones. I had put a note on the butterfly box that said "Open Me Last". He has waited two weeks to open that box. He took the wrapping paper off and said, "She got me a box. She got me a box for Christmas. And told me to open a box last." He started to put it down and someone said, "Well, open it!" I mean it was sort of heavy. It had a book in it. Sheesh kid. In his defense, all of his other presents were wrapped in the box they came in is so he figured it was just a box. When he opened it, he jumped back like they were real LOL. He was so surprised for a minute. When he caught on he wanted to play with them and make them fly. I figured he would. Thats why I said to open last. In other words...they are a huge hit if you want to consider them for next year.
  6. So true Momo. Our family was always bad about bringing sick kids around us. 1. The kid is sick. Put them to bed and 2. No one else want's their crud. Christmas always seems to be about surprises and change of plans. Mother, your daughter was very thoughtful and respectful of you and your husband! That was very unselfish of her. She was probably more disappointed than you guys were. Disappointed that she couldn't come and disappointed feeling that she let you down. She's a good daughter though! You are blessed to have her. I know you already know that.
  7. Oh, I didn't tell them that!!! I just told them to not prescribe anything for me but Cipro for a UTI because nothing else works. I only mentioned I used and fish meds on here. I never want him to think I can get anything on my own because (among other reasons) I want him to prescribe for me as much as he is willing so I can rotate my stock. I fill all the meds he is willing to prescribe. I also don't want him to think I 'doctor shop'. Which I don't. He knows every other doctor I've seen. They are all in the same system. I was talking to DIL's father at Thanksgiving and he said it's hard to find a doctor, much less a good doctor, over there too. He is a couple of years older than I am.
  8. Yes, definitely the sunny yard. I always leave something out on purpose so I won's appear perfect. Liar Liar Pants On Fire.
  9. Merry Christmas Miki. You do so much you deserve a quiet day!
  10. Oops, window snowman. It as Christmas Eve. I had Santa on my mind. I saw something fat in a red suit. Rumor had it he was in my area. Middle window reflection of some crazy lady taking pictures. Or maybe a peeping Tom. Better call the Po Po. Just incase. Side windows Ornaments Second pot. Blue truck Third pot. Green tree Fourth pot. Green tree Fifth pot. Blue truck Grinch returned part of the sidewalk.
  11. I didn't notice them tasting bitter but I took them with a big drink of pumpkin spice latte from Dunkin Donuts. I just happened to have it on hand. I thought about another UTI on them. Sigh. Last time I was in the doctors office I told them do not prescribe me anything except Cipro for a UTI because nothing else work for me. So we'll see. I treated myself the last time with fish med after he gave me something that didn't work. I told him about it in "My Chart" but he never responded. I have plenty in my stash now so I'm covered if he bucks up. You'd think I was asking for f*nt*nyL
  12. Mine just came loose in a regular pill bottle. I got the usual warning sheet but no instructions other than what is printed on the label from the pharmacy. I think it's going to be a long 2 weeks.
  13. Let's see... Window Santa First pot, tree Last pot, tree And it looks like the Grinch swooped down and has stolen your sidewalk.
  14. Momo, you aren't alone because you are in all of our hearts, thoughts and prayers right now. Just take a moment and feel the love being showered upon you. Momo ==> <== the rest of us.
  15. I'm having a good night. I ate half a large pizza while downloading a play list of Home Free. Music is awesome (thanks Midnightmom) but the videos are fun too. I downloaded 52 of them. I haven't even started on a Christmas play list yet. Next will be Gentri. I love music. Then the best part was calling G-son and warning him that Santa has been spotted in Ohio so he had better get to bed...now! He's on his way. Yeah, I'm that grandma. I have plenty to keep me busy tonight and tomorrow. Downloading music, might iron some curtains (probably not, but I could) and packing up the room of some things I'm not using. Then there is that other half of pizza. It's weighing heavy on my mind. And a$$ too. Love y'all!
  16. Dang it OOTO, I already took the first dose. Sigh. Make me eat more? Lawsy I'm in big trouble then. I got a large pizza on the way back from the pharmacy this afternoon. I already ate half of it. A LARGE pepperoni, mushroom and onion pizza. Boredom eating probably but I have a love hate issue with food anyway. This is before I even took any of the pills. I remember my cousin taking it for kidney failure and she looked bloated with the typical 'moon-face' appearance. Of course she was on it long term. I'll give it 2 weeks if it will help the hole heal all the way.
  17. Glad you had a great Christmas with your family Littlesister! Hope you have plenty of leftovers so you don't have to cook for awhile. For me, that's always the best part of cooking a big feast. The sore fingers will come from holding down the strings on the neck from playing the chords I'm afraid. I got a smaller guitar, I think. So hopefully my hand will fit around the neck. I got one that is highly lacquered so I'm thinking my sweaty hands won't mar the finish. I wonder if those finger cots would work? I'm already downloading some examples of songs with chords. I'll only be strumming. No pickin' and grinnin'.
  18. Thank you Mother! The link helped. I did a search but I didn't see that one. Since mine are only 10 mg. each I guess 6 at once isn't over the top. I've taken Prednisone before. In fact she gave me 5 days worth when I first went in a couple of months ago. I took it back in February when I had bronchitis. Or maybe it was when I had a reaction to Ampicillin. Anyway, I've never had an issue with it. I'm going for it.
  19. Friday I was prescribed Prednisone for my eardrum. It was finally filled today. I am supposed to take 6 pills a day for 7 days. Then 4 pills a day for 3 days etc. etc. My question is do I take the 6 pills all at once or do I space them out throughout the day? Same with the 4 pills etc. It's a two week regimen so I'd like to get on with it and get it done. Problem is, it's Christmas Eve and tomorrow will be Christmas Day and there are no doctors in to ask. The clinic is closed as is the pharmacy. So no one to ask until the third day. Ear doctor didn't make it clear how I was supposed to take them. Only that I reduced the number of pill after week one. The bottle doesn't say either. Sheesh. 6 x 7 = 42 Prednisone in one week Then 4 x 3 = 12, another 2 x 2 = 4, then 1 x 2 = 2 for a total of 18 the last week. A grand total of 60 pills in 2 weeks. Thats a lot of Prednisone for what is now a small hole in the eardrum. IMO Anyone have any experience with taking that many Prednisone in one day? All at once or spaced out? I've never taken that many pills, of one kind, all at once before. Is that a thing?
  20. MERRY CHRISTMAS! To you too Becca_Anne and to everyone else!
  21. Awwww. Ruby is gonna be a big sister! We will need pictures and a name of course! Euphrasyne, I don't need readers but I still bought some at the Dollar Tree incase son and DIL are at my house and need a pair. Just some cheap dollar (at the time) ones. I rarely wear my glasses in the house because my vision is so good up close. I often have to go back in the house to get my glasses because I forget to put them on outside. Sometimes I have to touch my face or top of my head to see if I have them on me. They have even gone in the shower with me perched on the top of my head. However, I'm blind as a bat when I want to see anything in the distance. I only have one pair of spare. I really should get a couple more. Maybe keep a pair in the car. They are pretty inexpensive online with a prescription now.
  22. I know that look. Son is babysitting my guitar until I get moved over. He has yet to develop the much anticipated calluses. LOL. Have you ever noticed Keith Richards hands? He has calluses clean up to his knuckles.
  23. Oh my, Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem With the Oak Ridge Boys and Home Free was awesome. Also with Jeffrey East whom I am going to look up! The first concert I ever saw was the Oak Ridge Boys. I'm really enjoying your list. Maybe when I get my new guitar tunned up I can add a little sumpin sumpin to your list. Or maybe not! My singing is a cross between a donkey braying and a wolf howling. No matter. I sing it loud and I sing it proud. I'm counting on my fine guitar playing to carry me though. <== Practicing for Midnightmom's Christmas list.
  24. Midnightmom, don't rush me. I'm still watching the cop...er uh I mean the Little Drummer boy. And the Home Free guys music.
