Big canning day for me. 7 qts. chicken thighs, 4 pints boneless breast strips, 7 pints of beef chunks in broth and 3 pints of beef strips.

Yard Sale Day!!--Bought 4 cases of jars--halves and pints for $5. Wish I had more room, they had lots of quarts. Mini hand crank ice cream maker for $2. Cast iron cornbread pan with cactus form in it for $1 That is to sell on ebay!

Giving both dogs haircuts, my clippers paid for themselves almost twice the first time I cut them. Downsized my phone plan again.

Girlnextdoor! Maybe black electrical tape. Or if I am not mounting it in the roof, maybe it isn't needed. Would be more like a lantern. Today it is cloudy so I will try tomorrow or whenever weather permits and let everyone know if it works.

I am definitely trying that Girl Next Door!!! Have to find a black film container and I won't hang it in the roof but it sure sounds good. Have you tried it?

On Monday, I went to Bealles Outlet to buy a queen sheetset priced at 29.99. Figured I would get my -over 50- discount. They totaled out at 13.90 including tax! Woohoo!

Went to Salvation Army today and got three cases of pint and 1/2 pint jars (mixed) for $1.25 altogether! Also a lightweight manual grinder of some type with 4 different (blades?). Maybe for veggies but only $2!

How about the hair remover that you use in the shower. You have to leave it on but not under running water for several minutes. How does one do that?
