Hi all.. sorry I haven't been here all week.. we had quite a snow storm and run of very cold weather for the last week. They even shut down my school one day because the roads were so bad. On Monday.. I was chopping extra wood for my fireplace and I managed to chop my finger instead of the wood...spent Monday evening until 2 in the morning in emergency... 5 stitches... I get them out tomorrow. Hard to type when one finger is out of commission. Our warm temps are back and so is our rain.. hurray.. would rather the rain to the snow, sleet and freezing rain. Have a good week....

Hey Lisa.. booger flicks.. you crack me up.... what did you watch? Still so very cold here... got even colder last night.. had my heat on in during the night... I don't usually do that. Must get ready for my next tutoring lesson on Monday.. and also back to school.... crap the whip with all the munchkins. Have a great day.

Happy Saturday all... MommaFitz... I hope everything works out for you... you seem to have a great attitude.. always good to stay one step ahead of things so that you have some control of the outcome. We are bitterly cold here in my part of the world, wild northern winds and lots of snow. Our temperatures have dipped in the minus area. Haven't seen cold and snow like this in many years. think I am staying in the house today, much to cold to venture out. Have a good Sat. I guess I will be cleaning house.

Happy New to you all. It was a quiet one for us as well. Katie was home with two friends and my son went out to friends houses... I finally got to sleep around 12:10.. Had to work in the morning. I am tutoring a Korean high school student... I guess they don't celebrate New Years... they just arrived here from Korea in June. Back to their place again today. We have lots and lots of snow and our temps are below freezing...... yuck.....at least the roads are finally clear. I wish you all happiness and joy for the New Year.

Hi Di, they'd and Bleb... well I guess I better send some of our snow your way...we are such wimps here when we get snow... there is just a little on the ground, you can still see the grass... our temps are sooooo cold right now, expected to get colder.... still calling for snow this afternoon. Glad I don't have a dog.. di....cleaning up dog poo yuck. At least if it's cold it's frozen, but warm and wet yuck again.

Good morning BA and Snowie, glad your both doing well.. No real good deals for boxing day....but had fun going out anyway. Our snow is almost gone, but temps still cold and supposed to get colder this week. They are calling for more snow on Tuesday night. Glad I don't have to work this week. Good Morning Theyd... I am wearing my sunglasses just for you. We have snow here in BC this morning.. woke up to a few inches on the grass... it's very pretty, but now I've seen it and it can go away. Went to boxing days sales yesterday, off to do grocery shopping this morning. I took my tree and all xmas decorations down yesterday, cleaned and vacuumed.. now I have my living room and dining room back. My house looks so much bigger. I hope the memorial is full of good memories from times passed..

they'd I haven't been here in a few days.. so sorry to hear about your dad's death. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning everyone.. so sorry I haven't been around much lately... so much going on this time of the year.... The last week of school is always the most hectic... finishing last minute projects, christmas concerts... etc... Finally got paid for my daughter's car accident... happened a few weeks ago, her car was totaled, thanks goodness she wasn't hurt. all the other guys fault, so now she has new wheels, not new, new.. but new to her... going to take my ex shopping with my son today. He is in a home now...can't take care of himself anymore... dimentia and heart condition. He is only 45 years old. This will also be the first Christmas without my brother.. But we will try and do our best to celebrate what we do have and be thankful for all the little things. I expect to be able to get on here more next week, now that I am off school... Have a great day.

Swat swat... nasty flu bug.. sorry for all of you who are ailing......get better soon. Went and got my tree yesterday, killed it good, got the lights on now just waiting for teenagers to help put on the decorations and tinsel.. It looks beautiful and smells so good. Got a guitar for my son yesterday......hurray, no more trips downtown for a while. Going Christmas shopping this morning at first light so as to avoid the crowds...... and germs.... Off to a Christmas party tonight.. Have a good restful Sunday
