Hi everyone... oh Momo I sure hope you and hubby are on the mend by now. My sister's two little guys have been very sick with the flu as well.... temps over 104 yikes... had one of them into emergency, now her hubby is getting... I think I will stay away from their house for a while. It's cold and rainy here today, what else is new in BC... Off to the downtown core today, shopping for second hand guitars for my son.. he's paying... not my favorite thing to do. I hope you all have a relaxing restful day..... rest a little for me. Must go hunt down my Christmas tree today as well..

I chop all my own wood for my fireplace.... I have a splitter but I don't think it's what you guys are talking about ... what is your wood splitter?????

Hi all....I heard about the states getting pounded with the white stuff too... parts of Canada are getting it as well....not us.. we had a beautiful sunny day yesterday... I even worked raking leaves.. clear and sunny today, a little colder... going to power wash for someone today. They say that we may get the fluffy stuff later on in the week. You'll never guess what happened to me... I got called for Jury duty.. for a criminal case.. supposed to go on Jan. 5 to see if I am accepted for part of the jury.. yikes.... Hope you all have a good sunday... will try and drop in more often.....lots going on at our house... not the best of times.. but we will get through it....

Good Morning They'd... glad you got some sleep... I haven't been here all week... been a hectic week for us. Working in the cold cold temps really zaps your energy.... My daughter had a car accident in during the week, she wasn't hurt but her car was totaled, so now to figure what to do... she has no wheels and can't do her job without...sigh. oh well we'll figure it out. Otherwise we've had some snow, some sleet, some cold and some more cold...brrrrrrrrr Have to work today too, so will have to go start putting my layers of clothes on. Have a good day.

Glad the weekend is over, son's 16th birthday lasted all weekend.... today we go to the motor vehicle branch so he can write his test to get his learner's permit......oh noooooooooooo

Good Morning Snowie... nope nothing at the pawn shops.. but we had fun looking.. spent hours and hours, walking and walking... in the rain... Raining today, it's my son's 16th birthday today, so we are having a birthday supper for him, having is dad over. have a great visit. Looks like rain here all next week and possible snow by next weekend.. blah..

Hello They'd and Seldie... I too get up at 4:30 every week day and about 5:30 on weekends.. my favorite time of the day is the morning..... peaceful. No chance of running into a teenager at that hour of the morning.... no birds singing this morning.. looks like we are in for some rain... have a great one.....

Love your door Lowlie, this is to the back of your house right? The only concern I would have here is the bugs and mosquitos in the summer... is there a screen door that can fit it.......???

Good Morning Theyd, we had a frost last night.. brrrr, but not in the minus temps this morning.... I think we will have one more nice day, then rain moving in again. It was sooooo nice here yesterday, working in shirt sleeves... raking and raking and raking.. still more leaves to come down.... Have agreat day, stay warm.. and don't say the S word (snow)
