Guest Guest
I have a question that is probably not answerable...lol I went to the bookstore late last night to get the book by John Barry, The Great Influenza, which is about the 1918 spanish flu outbreak...while there, I looked at the herbal book area, trying to figure out what the best book would be to buy, and I walked away feeling overwhelmed... Anyone have any suggestions? Link to comment
Synn
I did bid on Ebay for one of those Complete Medicinal Herbal books like what Wes gave away! I am hoping it's dummy friendly! Link to comment
moonstar
I have "Herbal Medicine" by Dian Dincin Buchman which I think is a good book to start with if you aren't familiar with herbs and how to prepare them. It's the first book I purchased. A more indepth book is "Back to Eden' by Jethro Kloss. Prevention's Best "Healing Herbs" is good. Also, "The Healing Herbs-The Ultimate Guide to the curative power of nature's medicines by Michael Castleman is good. Goes into safety factors and cautions for each herb. Just my opinion. I'm sure there are many good books out there. Link to comment

White, MD, and Steven Foster. It lists problems, conventional drug treatments for them, and herbal remedies (and some recipies for them too). Link to comment
