Said to have at least 2 to 3 months of supplies and masks and some people may have to work from home instead of going in to work. Said it was expected to be in the US within 1 year. Not a whole lot said, but at least now they are warning people locally to have supplies. Link to comment

I forgot to mention, on the news they did say be prepared to homeschool your children and that hospitals would be overwhelmed and to be prepared to take care of sick family members at home. Now the word is getting out more and more so it's telling me the gov't. is more concerned but don't want to panic people. Slowly the info is dispersed.... Link to comment

Posted March 1, 2006 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Waiting, that is a really important point you just made....that the government is getting the info out, but slowly so as not to incite panic. Panic could do a lot of harm all by itself. Hopefully, this information effort will gradually gain enough steam to make a difference for many.
