moonstar
Do you have a favorite recipe using dehydrated foods that you would share? Link to comment
SisterKrister
Hi Waiting! I don't have a favorite recipe yet because I haven't made anything but I've got some dry cheese powder, powdered shortening and eggs now and I'm waiting for my order for dehydrated potatoes, etc to come in to start making some recipes. I've got the Mix a Meal cookbook, you can find it at Walton's Feed and Amazon. All the recipes in it use dehydrated foods - I'm looking forward to making the lasagna and the au gratin potatoes and, of course, the cookies I'll let you know how they turn out. Link to comment

cartoongirl
Mamacat I've got TVP sitting in my cupboard in the original bag. It's been there for about 6 months, do you think it would still be good. Have never tried TVP. Link to comment
5th graders mama
Yes actually, I believe many of the food shelf life sites list it's storage in YEARS. Link to comment

moonstar
Now that I have a dehydrator, I'm collecting recipes. Didn't know about the cubed ones. Appreciate the info. Have the dried eggs, but read somewhere it wasn't safe to dry them at home, so I bought some. Now to dehydrate some potatoes. Link to comment
