bluegrassmom
Ok, I'm supposed to be processing @ 11 pounds of pressure. Once things got going, my stove was so hot it almost got up to 15 pounds. I cut the heat back but I have only been able to get it down to a fairly consistent 12-12 1/2 pounds. THIS IS WITH MY STOVE SETTING AT 2!!!! I know it usually runs hot, but my goodness. I can hear the water in there bubbling and boiling, but my little bobber thingy on top isn't moving around. It's just sitting there. But if I turn my heat up, my stove will get this thing to the danger zone in five min. flat. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment

Dee
I'm proud of you too Deanne. The first time is the hardest and soon you'll be a pro. Having that canned meat on hand and ready to warm up and eat in a matter of mins. is the greatest....you'll see! Link to comment
